EPIC Recovery and 519 Clothing Partner to Support the SOBER AF Recovery Softball Team
Recovery is supported in many ways. Sometimes it happens in counselling rooms, classrooms, support groups, and workshops. Sometimes it happens on a softball field, surrounded by teammates, laughter, movement, and community.
This summer, EPIC Recovery is proud to partner with 519 Clothing to sponsor the SOBER AF Recovery Softball Team in London, Ontario.
The team is part of the recovery softball league and offers adults in recovery a chance to connect, participate, and enjoy something meaningful outside of traditional recovery spaces. For many people, recovery is strengthened by moments like these: showing up, being part of a team, building friendships, and experiencing life in a new way.
A Local Partnership with Shared Values
This sponsorship is especially meaningful because it brings together two locally owned and operated organizations that care deeply about mental health, wellness, and community impact.
519 Clothing has built a brand that celebrates local pride while also giving back through the 519 Fund, donating 1% of all sales to worthy causes in the 519 area with a focus on mental health and wellness. Their EPIC Recovery collection also helps raise awareness for addiction recovery and mental health support through purpose-driven apparel.
At EPIC Recovery, community involvement has always been part of the work. Through the Recovery Robinhood Initiative, EPIC continues to support recovery-focused education, community connection, free support groups, outreach, sober events, and practical opportunities that help make recovery feel more accessible, human, and connected.
This partnership reflects what can happen when local organizations use their resources, platforms, and creativity to support something bigger than themselves.
Recovery Beyond the Rooms
At EPIC, we believe recovery is about quality of life. That includes treatment, support, emotional growth, accountability, and education, but it also includes fun, friendship, confidence, movement, and belonging.
The SOBER AF Recovery Softball Team creates space for people to experience recovery in real life. It is a reminder that recovery is not only about what people are moving away from. It is also about what they are building toward.

Come Out and Show Your Support
Community members are welcome to come out on Sundays at Vauxhall Park to watch the team play, cheer them on, and show support for recovery in action.
