Dr. Janel Gracey | Addiction Medicine Consultant

Dr. Janel Gracey is an addiction medicine physician who supports EPIC Recovery in a consulting capacity and facilitates the Caduceus Group, a recovery support group for health professionals.

Dr. Gracey works with the RAAM Clinic in St. Thomas and London, providing rapid access to addiction medicine care for individuals navigating substance use concerns. She is certified by both the International Society of Addiction Medicine and the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine, and holds a Certificate of Added Competency in Addiction Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

In addition to her work in addiction medicine, Dr. Gracey is an Interventional Pain Specialist in London, an Associate Professor at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and an examiner for the Medical Council of Canada. She also consults with Addiction Services of Thames Valley through CMHA.

At EPIC Recovery, Dr. Gracey brings specialized medical expertise, clinical insight, and a strong understanding of the complex relationship between addiction, pain, mental health, and long-term recovery. Her involvement supports EPIC’s commitment to evidence-informed care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and improved quality of life for people in recovery.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Gracey enjoys strength training, running, camping, travelling, and dancing.
